Tidy Magnet Set Named a Winner in Domino's 2026 Good Design Awards

We're thrilled to share that Apto's Tidy Magnet Set has been recognized as a winner in Domino's 2026 Good Design Awards, one of design's most trusted stamps of approval for products that combine beauty, function, and genuine usefulness.

What the Judges Said

Domino's editors put it best, calling the Tidy Magnet Set "the organizer that organizes itself." As they described it:

"When Apto's solid-wood magnets aren't holding up grocery lists, invitations, and kids' artwork, they slot neatly into a sleek steel tray. Four different sizes can handle everything from a tiny receipt to a full sheet of paper, and a silicone backing helps protect your fridge from scratches."

Behind the Design

Most magnet sets solve one problem, holding paper to a fridge, while creating another: loose pieces scattered across your kitchen counter, junk drawer, or floor. We wanted a set that could do its job and put itself away.

That's why every element of the Tidy Magnet Set was designed with a dual purpose in mind.

The solid-wood magnets bring warmth and a tactile, natural material into a space that's often all steel and plastic. The four sizes mean there's a right-sized magnet for everything from a parking receipt to a school flyer.

We designed the steel tray as a home base, so the whole set has a place to return to when it's not in use. The silicone backing was a small but deliberate detail, added to keep your fridge looking as good as the magnets do.

A Quick Thank You

At Apto we believe that everyday objects deserve real thought. A magnet set is a small thing. But small things, used every day, are exactly where good design matters most.

Thank you to Domino for the honor, and thank you to everyone who has brought the Tidy Magnet Set into their home.

Here's to another year of creating Objects that Belong.
