Instruction Manual - Obround Shoe Rack

As shown in the first section, this package includes 1 × Table Top (A), 3 × Shoe Racks (B), 1 × Shoe Rack with Footers (C), 2 × Support Rods (D), and 10 × Screws for assembling the shoe rack—please hand-tighten these screws only.

For dry wall safety strap installation, shown in the second section, the package also includes 1 × Drywall Safety Strap (E), 2 × Wall Brackets (F), 2 × Wall Anchors (G), 2 × Long Screws (H), and 2 × Short Screws (J); electric tools may be used when installing the wall anchors.

Note: There are two ways to assemble your shoe rack. Each option depends on how the support rods are oriented: one end of the rod has a wider distance between the screw holes, and the other end is shorter.

  • Option 1: Place the shorter width end of the support rods on top. This will create larger spacing on the bottom shoe rack.

  • Option 2: Place the wider width end of the support rods on top. This will result in evenly spaced shelves.

Carefully choose the option that fits your preference before attaching the shelves.

Step 1) Lay down one of the support rods (D) and align the Table Top (A) to your desired top orientation. As shown in the diagram, make sure that the brackets on the Table Top are pointed down and not up. Screw and attach these two pieces by hand.

Step 2) Working from the top down, attach one Shoe Rack (B) to the support rod. Make sure the brackets are pointing down. Screw it in by hand and hand-tighten. (Left Image)

Step 3) Attach the next Shoe Rack (B) below the first one, working your way down the support rod. (Right Image)

Step 4) Attach the last Shoe Rack (B) to the support rod and hand-tighten. Make sure the brackets are facing down. (Left Image)

Step 6) Prepare the Shoe Rack with Footer (C) by screwing on the 4 footers included in the box. Hand-tighten each footer until secure. Attach the Shoe Rack with Footer (C) to the support rod.
Important: The brackets on this rack should face up, so the footers sit at the bottom.

Step 7) Place the second Support Rod (D) on the other side of the assembled shoe rack and align the screw holes. Hand-tighten the screws in the order shown by the numbers in the diagram below. (Left Image)

Step 8) Carefully stand the assembled Obround Shoe Rack upright. Assembly is now complete — enjoy your shoe rack! (Right Image)

Dry Wall Safety Strap Installation:

Note:
Check whether you will be anchoring the safety strap to drywall or hardwood. If anchoring to drywall, follow instruction A1. If anchoring to hardwood, follow instruction B1.

Step 1) Mark the location for the drywall anchors and pre-drill the holes. Use the wall bracket to ensure proper alignment. Insert both wall anchors into the pre-drilled holes until they are flush with the wall.

Step 2) Place the wall bracket over the installed drywall anchors and secure it by drilling in the long screws (H). Pass the drywall safety strap (E) through the wall bracket and secure it to your shoe rack.

Step 1) Place the wall bracket on the wall and drill directly into the surface using the short screws (J). Pass the drywall safety strap (E) through the bracket and secure it to the shoe rack.
